Maybe waterfalls fascinate me because I grew up not too far from Niagara Falls. We visited occasionally as a family as I grew up, and naturally it became a date destination with boyfriends though the later teenage years. I left that area 47 years ago, and after nearly 30 years in west central Florida I consider myself a flatlander. Walking in areas with actual elevation I can feel the inclines as I walk.
We saw several waterfalls in the Ithaca area during our visit. Upon my return an article about the many waterfalls on the Cornell campus appeared in my inbox, a few weeks late. I definitely see another trip to that area.
