Standing near the water I watched several spider webs, most occupied, blowing in the strong gusts with the occupants clinging to the webs. During the lulls, one spider attempted some repairs before the next gust.
This Golden Silk Orbweaver had a complete web, and centered herself directly in the middle. During this gust, I took the photo just as the billowing web covered most of the background, giving that part of the background a slightly clouded look. The golden part of the golden silk is barely visible. Based on her size, I am sure it is a she.
